OTA Diagnostic Engineer – Eindhoven, Netherlands
The Position
As part of our continued efforts to advance vehicle diagnostics and over-the-air (OTA) update capabilities, we are seeking an OTA Diagnostic Engineer to support the development and integration of secure OTA functionality within the DAVIE diagnostic software.
In this role, you will contribute to the design and implementation of OTA infrastructure, develop diagnostic content using Grade-X (OTX and ODX), and validate system performance both on bench setups and vehicles. You’ll work closely with engineering teams to ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and support update campaigns and rollback mechanisms.
You will also be responsible for documenting system architecture, training Scrum teams, and reporting progress to management on a regular basis.
Core Activities
- Analyzing diagnostic documentation from product development
- Developing diagnostic content using Grade-X (OTX and ODX)
- Testing and validating diagnostic content on bench and vehicle setups
- Designing and implementing end-to-end OTA infrastructure
- Integrating OTA capabilities into existing diagnostic workflows
- Ensuring compliance with cybersecurity and regulatory standards
- Supporting update campaigns and rollback mechanisms
- Creating user manuals, developer guides, and training materials
- Reporting development status and progress to management
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Development, Automotive Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in diagnostics, OTX, and ODX
- Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken
- Experience with OTA systems is a plus
