Senior R&D / Product Development Manager – Medical Devices (Class III)

Location: Netherlands

We are partnering with an established medical device innovator specializing in Class IIb & Class III products. They are looking for a strong technical leader to drive new product development and manage a growing engineering team.

What You’ll Do

• Lead end-to-end development of Class III devices, including cardiology-related products
• Navigate ISO 13485 & MDR requirements to bring new products successfully to market
• Oversee project timelines and ensure high-quality delivery
• Manage and mentor a team of experienced engineers
• Support both internal product development and contract development discussions with clients
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across the Netherlands

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years leadership experience in Medical Devices
• Proven track record bringing Class IIb/III products to market
• Strong technical mindset with R&D expertise
• Experience in catheter, cardiology, or similar high-risk devices
• Fluent in Dutch & English
• Confident communicator able to speak the “R&D language” with customers
