Paid Social Manager

Job Purpose

As the Paid Social Manager at Travix, your primary objective is to own, drive and support the strategic development and execution of Paid Social roadmap for multiple travel brands (e.g. Cheaptickets; Flugladen, BudgetAir,). You will be responsible for driving traffic, acquisition, and conversion through full funnel strategy and campaign optimization, while ensuring alignment with business objectives and goals.

Core tasks and responsibilities

  • Owning the strategy, roadmap and execution of the paid social channel, including planning, budgeting, set-up, and performance reporting against key KPI’s (Revenue, Margin, ROAS)
  • Develop and oversee a full funnel approach, taking into consideration the different stages of the customer journey
  • Partner closely with our eCom on campaign calendar and channel activations
  • Partner with Design and develop a testing roadmap for high performing assets, ensuring creative is tailored to platform best practices and specific funnel goals
  • Creating and scaling creative content in Smartly
  • Identify new trends and innovation in the area of social media and implement where relevant
  • Leverage AI tools and machine learning to improve our campaign performance, uncover deep audience insight and drive operational efficiency.

What you bring to the table

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role in Paid Social, preferably in travel/air industry, and/or large sized company
  • You are truly social-savvy: fully up to date with the latest trends, developments, and features across all major social media platforms. You keep a close eye on new releases and know exactly how to leverage them to reach and engage our target audience.
  • Hands-on experience working with platforms like Meta, Smartly and TikTok (other platforms like Pinterest, Snapchat & Reddit is a plus)
  • Technical knowledge of feed management tools like Channable
  • Proven track record in paid social marketing, execution and optimization, with a focus on driving acquisition, conversion, and revenue.
  • Experience in analysing and reporting of performance in web analytic tools like GA4
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Fluent in Dutch and excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. French and German is a plus.
