About the Role

We are looking for a Quality Control Coordinator to manage project QC activities across welding, coating, NDT and fabrication work scopes. You will ensure materials, components and procedures meet applicable standards throughout procurement, fabrication and testing phases. In this role, you act as the main QC contact for assigned projects, reviewing documentation, selecting inspectors, coordinating audits, and maintaining full compliance and traceability.

Key Responsibilities

• Review project contracts, specifications and ITPs; define QC requirements and inspector qualifications.
• Assess and approve supplier/subcontractor procedures and monitor their QC performance.
• Attend pre-production and qualification meetings; conduct inspections during fabrication and coating/welding activities.
• Verify material certificates, storage/preservation conditions and consumable compliance.
• Implement ITP checkpoints, witness tests, and ensure accurate reporting of QC results.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and support client/third-party audits.
• Perform supplier audits and manage NCRs, corrective actions and quality improvements.

Your Profile

• BSc/HTS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical background.
• Experience with fabrication, piping or offshore equipment.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and codes such as API, AWS, ASME, BS-EN or DNV.
• Familiarity with welding, coating and NDT practices; CSWIP 3.1 is an advantage.
• Strong report writing, documentation and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and occasionally travel.
