Senior Inspector

Your challenges, team & focus:

As a (Senior) Inspector, you will independently carry out inspections during the course of projects. You will ensure that inspections are conducted in accordance with the Smart-AIS quality system ISO 9001 and uphold this standard within the team.

You will perform inspections according to schedule and agreements made, and deliver reports.

The work takes place both in the Netherlands and abroad, making your tasks always very diverse and the work location different each time. On average, you will travel abroad or offshore for short periods (a maximum of 2 weeks) between 4 and 12 times per year.

Safety, efficiency, and sustainability are the most important aspects reflected in our work.

Examples of projects we work on are:

What do you bring to the table?

  • You have at least 1 year of experience in one or more NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) techniques or at least 1 year of experience in welding or coating inspections;
  • You have at least mbo-level working and thinking ability;
  • Minimum qualification level 2 according to ISO 9712 in one or more Non-Destructive Testing techniques;
  • Minimum qualification level 2 according to CSWIP 3.1 or equivalent in welding inspection, or minimum qualification level 2 according to NACE or equivalent in coating inspection;
  • NOGEPA, BOSIET, S-CAPE and CA-EBS training or willing to obtain these in the short term;
  • VCA VOL certified or willing to renew or obtain this in the short term.

Furthermore,...

  • You have a flexible attitude. You do not mind being on the road for several days, both domestically and internationally;
  • You are enthusiastic, eager to learn, and motivated to learn new things;
  • Proficiency in the English language is a must, additional proficiency in Dutch is an advantage;
  • You have a category B driving licence;
  • You are a team player who can work well with colleagues.
