Quality Manager

On-site: Minimum four days per week

Our client, a global manufacturing leader known for its technical innovation and commitment to quality, is seeking a Quality Manager to join one of its key European production sites. The site employs around 80 people and produces high-volume, precision-engineered components for international customers across multiple industries.

This is a pivotal role for a motivated professional who enjoys balancing hands-on operational leadership with strategic quality management. You will lead a small, skilled team and drive initiatives that enhance process reliability, product performance, and overall customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of four quality professionals, fostering collaboration and accountability.
• Manage customer and supplier complaints, aiming for continuous reduction in defects and claims.
• Implement and maintain certifications such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS and BRC.
• Champion structured problem-solving and root-cause analysis (8D, DMAIC, MOC) to strengthen processes.
• Support new product introductions and ensure compliance with all quality and safety requirements.
• Collaborate with other European sites to align quality systems and share best practices.
• Promote a culture of ownership, engagement and continuous improvement across the plant.

Candidate Profile

• Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 3–5 years’ experience in a Quality Management role within a manufacturing or process-driven environment.
• Strong knowledge of ISO standards and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience in regulated industries such as food, pharmaceutical or medical devices is an advantage.
• Analytical, pragmatic and hands-on leadership approach.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; German language skills are a plus.
