Certifications in scope

NEN 8051: Dutch quality standard for preventive health checks (PGO). It ensures that health checks are relevant, safe, effective, and efficiently executed.

ISO 9001: International quality management standard focused on consistent processes, customer focus, risk-based thinking, and continual improvement within a company-wide QMS.

The role

As a Quality & Compliance Intern, you will help prepare Homediq for full audit readiness for NEN 8051 and ISO 9001. You will translate standards into practical workflows, verify how teams operate, and organize the documentation needed for audits.

What you will do

• Map current processes and identify gaps against NEN 8051 and ISO 9001 requirements
• Prepare for full audits by planning the audit program, gathering objective evidence, and pre-validating compliance
• Conduct structured employee interviews to verify process understanding and effectiveness
• Draft and organize policies, SOPs, work instructions, forms, training records, risk logs, and CAPA evidence
• Coordinate improvements with Operations, Medical, IT, and Leadership to close non-conformities
• Report progress and readiness to the CEO and the Operations owner

Support and tools

You will work with a modern audit platform that streamlines documentation, evidence collection, and CAPA tracking, making the work significantly more organized and therefore easier. You will have direct access to leadership and hands-on support from Operations and QA contacts.

What you bring

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Industrial Engineering and Management, Technical Business Management, Health/Biomedical Sciences, or similar
• Interest in quality management systems, process optimization, and regulatory compliance
• Strong organization and analytical skills, with a structured, proactive approach
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to run interviews and synthesize findings
• English required; Dutch and German are a plus
• Professional handling of confidential information
