A leading European transmission organisation is seeking a Grid Specialist to drive system-level planning, HV/HVDC integration, and long-term reinforcement strategies across the 110–380 kV network .

What you’ll do

• Perform advanced grid studies (load flow, contingency, voltage stability, fault-level)
• Integrate HVDC links, offshore wind, and major industrial connections
• Evaluate new capacity requests and connection options
• Collaborate across engineering, operations, and international partners
• Influence the future of Europe’s transmission system

What you bring

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or Energy Technology
• 3–7+ years in HV transmission, grid planning, or system studies
• Experience with tools like PowerFactory, PSS®E, and PSCAD
• Strong communication skills – English is the working language

• HVDC modelling or converter control experience
