Senior Cost Estimator

Konnektus is looking for a Senior Cost Estimator to join our client's team. As Senior Cost Estimator , you will be at the heart of our tendering process — transforming data into actionable insights and building cost estimates that help us secure new projects.

Your role:

• Lead the development of cost estimates for diverse projects, drawing on data from our knowledge base, supplier quotations, and cross-functional input;
• Prepare estimating plans and basis of estimate documents that lay the foundation for successful proposals;
• Collaborate closely with Contracts & Procurement to obtain and analyse supplier and subcontractor pricing;
• Contribute to proposal schedules , cost risk analyses , and cost optimisation initiatives;
• Integrate OPEX estimates from the Operations Support Group to ensure full lifecycle cost coverage;
• Play a strategic role in tender boards and proposal strategy meetings , providing cost insights and accuracy assessments;
• Innovate through parametric analysis , benchmarking , and process improvements .

Your profile:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Technical Business Administration or a related field;
• A strong technical background , ideally developed in the oil & gas and/or maritime industry;
• 5+ years of relevant experience in cost estimating within the offshore or oil & gas sector;
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal;
• Proficiency with Cleopatra Enterprise and other cost estimating software;
• Strong computer literacy (spreadsheets, document management, databases).
