Business Development Representative (BDR) – Find Signals, Start Conversations, Build Pipeline
Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for business development, cutting-edge technology, and strategic growth? Axual is looking for a BDR to identify opportunities, build strong relationships, and expand our footprint in the world of event stream processing.

Axual is a fast-growing scale-up specializing in real-time event stream processing . Our mission is simple yet powerful: help large organizations unlock the full potential of their data and respond instantly to customer needs. We do this by providing secure, scalable, and high-performance data streaming solutions based on Apache Kafka .
We already work with Rabobank, PostNL, the Norwegian Government, Stedin, and Eneco , but we’re just getting started . We’re looking for a skilled BDR to drive new business, uncover opportunities, and accelerate Axual’s growth.
Your Role at Axual:
As BDR , you will:
✅ Identify and engage with new enterprise clients across Europe.
✅ Prospect, qualify, and develop leads into high-value business opportunities.
✅ Analyse the market to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
✅ Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue and expand our customer base.
✅ Attend industry events and conferences to network and generate leads.
✅ Pitch and present Axual’s solutions to key decision-makers, from C-level executives to technical teams.
✅ Collaborate with all our AE’s, SDR, CSM to optimize outreach campaigns, you report directly to the CCO.
✅ Track sales performance using our CRM and provide strategic insights for growth.
Who You Are:
A sales professional with 3+ years experience in enterprise SaaS or tech sales.
Proven ability to generate leads and qualified meetings by applying ABM.
Strong understanding of B2B sales, market research, and business strategy .
Skilled in consultative selling and high-impact presentations .
A self-starter with a hunter mentality , you thrive on finding and winning new business .
Fluent in English and Dutch (other European languages are a plus).
Willingness to travel across Europe for client meetings and industry events.
Knowledge of event-driven architectures or Apache Kafka is a great advantage.
