HSE Specialist – Rotterdam, Netherlands

START: December / January

LOCATION: Rotterdam

Contract Type: Permanent (Full Time - 2-3 days working from home)

Salary: €60,000 - €70,000 + Package

Specification:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in HSE, HSSE, or industrial safety roles, ideally within industrial manufacturing, chemical production, or process industry environments.
• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field is ideal.
• Experience operating and maintaining integrated HSE / HSSE software systems.
• Strong understanding of Dutch health and safety regulations and their practical application on industrial sites.
• Fluent in English.

Overview:

One of our clients is looking for an experienced HSE Specialist to support their health, safety, and environmental performance on a new renewable energy project in Rotterdam.

You will assist in maintaining and applying existing HSE procedures, coordinating with on-site security teams, updating HSE documentation, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts across the facility.

It’s an excellent opportunity for an HSE professional who enjoys combining hands-on safety support with system management inside a dynamic industrial environment.
