What you’re signing up for 

We're looking for an ambitious frontend engineer who wants to own the end to end customer experience from the ground up. You'll be the driving force behind our customer experience, simplifying complex workflows through a natural language interface with the autonomy to make architectural decisions and deliver a product experience that our customers love. The scope is deliberately broad enough to challenge you, yet focused enough for you to make significant progress and build deep expertise.

What we expect from you

Engineering Quality

We expect you to write clean, reliable, and maintainable code while making thoughtful technical decisions that fit the problem at hand. You should build with testing, performance, and polish in mind so the experience feels fast and dependable.

You keep the team informed, communicate blockers early, and take responsibility for outcomes, not just tasks. Your work is clearly documented so others can understand it, improve it and build on it.

You take initiative, welcome new challenges, and adapt quickly when learning new tools or domains. You stay curious, ask good questions and continually look for ways to refine how you work.

What you bring

5+ years of software engineering experience in frontend development, ideally in B2B SaaS or Fintech. You have strong engineering fundamentals and deep frontend expertise, with hands-on experience building production web applications using React and TypeScript. You're proficient with GraphQL for API integration and have strong CSS skills with experience in responsive design and cross-browser compatibility. You're comfortable collaborating with designers using tools like Figma and understand core software design principles such as modularity, separation of concerns, and testability. You have experience with Git-based workflows and collaborative development practices.

How you solve problems

You debug issues systematically, working from symptoms toward root causes. When requirements are vague, you break them into concrete plans. You know when to aim for polish and when to be pragmatic, and you’re resourceful enough to find answers through documentation, experimentation, or asking the right questions.

AI-First mindset

You use AI tools to speed up development and understand when to trust AI-generated output, and when to question it. You can articulate problems clearly to get useful AI assistance, and you apply sound judgment by reviewing, testing, and validating anything AI helps produce.

How we work

In your first week, you’ll deliver a meaningful commit to production. By your first month, you’ll ship a user-facing feature. Within your first 90 days, you’ll own and complete a significant deliverable. Throughout this process, you’ll have support from the team through code reviews, pairing sessions, and ongoing technical guidance.

We review applications on a rolling basis. If you're a good fit, we'll schedule a conversation to discuss the role in more detail, followed by a technical assessment focused on problem-solving rather than trivia. The final interview is with the founder and we provide feedback on the same day.
