Full Stack Java

For one of our banking clients, we are looking for an experienced Full Stack Java-Angular Developer who enjoys working in complex environments and is interested in the people and processes around them. You will play a key role in one of the Scrum teams within the KYC & Financial Crime domain, contributing to mission-critical systems that support customer due diligence and regulatory compliance.

As a senior developer, you will help your team make sound technical decisions, work across the full stack, and collaborate closely with stakeholders inside and outside the organization to deliver high‑quality solutions.

Your role & responsibilities

• Participate in one of the Scrum teams within the KYC & Financial Crime domain
• Develop and maintain banking and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) applications for both customers and internal users across multiple countries
• Implement end‑to‑end functional changes together with your team, working across all application layers
• Collaborate closely with the business to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Contribute to high code quality through continuous integration, cross‑team code reviews, and knowledge‑sharing sessions
• Develop and enhance Internet Banking applications using Angular and NgRx
• Work with technologies such as Java (Jakarta EE / Java 11), CDI, OpenAPI, JSF (PrimeFaces), and SQL

Your profile

• An experienced full stack developer with strong backend and frontend (Angular) expertise
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Angular
• Comfortable working with large, complex codebases in a mission‑critical environment
• Preferably experienced within the banking sector
• Proactive, enterprising, and able to make well‑considered technical decisions
• Focused on continuous improvement of both technology and development processes
• Able to balance elegant solutions with pragmatic choices when needed
• Willing to work 2‑3 days per week on‑site (central Netherlands) to collaborate closely with the team
• Knowledge of KYC / Financial Crime is a strong plus
