Your responsibilities

As Manager Finance & Control at our client, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring financial control, transparency, and strategic insight across multiple business units generating million‑euro revenues. You’ll take ownership of the company’s financial processes, from administration and forecasting to analysis and reporting, while advising management on key decisions that drive profitability and growth.

• Maintain full ownership of the general ledger, P&L, and balance sheet
• Supervise daily accounting processes including AR/AP, payroll input, and reconciliations
• Deliver accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Ensure compliance with Dutch accounting standards and international regulations

Forecasting & Budgeting

• Develop forecasts and budgets for multiple business units
• Conduct variance and margin analysis to support management decision‑making
• Translate financial insights into concrete business recommendations

Process Improvement & Automation

• Identify and implement process optimizations and system automation opportunities
• Support and enhance financial reporting through Visma and other ERP tools

Business Partnering & Strategy

• Advise leadership on the financial impact of strategic initiatives
• Provide insights that drive profitability, efficiency, and scalability
• Act as a trusted partner to management and cross‑functional teams

Audit & Compliance

• Prepare audit files and coordinate with external auditors
• Ensure transparent financial administration and data integrity across all entities

Your profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Economics.
• 5‑8 years of experience in finance, controlling, or accounting
• Experience in a fast‑paced or high‑growth environment (digital/marketing/tech preferred)
• Experience with Visma is a strong advantage
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with BI or reporting tools
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Fluent in English is a must (spoken and written).
• Fluent in Dutch is a pre‑requirement
