Site Controller I


Site Controller – Schiphol

GXOs Logistics is looking for a proactive and experienced Site Controller to join our team in Schiphol. In this role, you’ll work closely with key stakeholders and Site Managers in different countries to drive financial performance and support strategic decision‑making.

What you do on a typical day

As a Site Controller you advise on all business‑relevant questions to site leadership in controlling and financing aspects.

  • Advising site leadership and site managers on financial and controlling matters.
  • Leading month‑end and year‑end closing procedures.
  • Managing full P&L and overseeing local accounting functions.
  • Developing and maintaining robust internal control systems.
  • Leading the budgeting and weekly and monthly forecasting process, taking corrective actions when needed.
  • Creating sales invoices for completed services and discussing this with the site managers and the customer.
  • Collaborating with cross‑functional international teams to identify cost drivers and improve financial outcomes.

What you need to succeed at GXO

  • A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Economics, or similar.
  • Min. 2-3 years of experience in finance and/or controlling.
  • Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Proactive approach with effective problem‑solving abilities.
  • Experience in a 3PL environment would be advantageous.
