At Fokker Landing Gear in Papendrecht, we’re searching for a visionary Industrialization Manager to guide a talented multicultural engineering team across disciplines and spearhead innovation in military aerospace platforms such as the F‑35 and NH90. /p pAs an Industrialization Manager, your mission will be to upgrade our Manufacturing Engineering Systems and Operations Equipment, aligning them with global standards for PLM, CAM, CAV, ERP, MES, and QMS. By leading the industrialization of high‑resolution Digital Product Definition processes, you’ll deliver unmatched accuracy, automation, and synchronization across our manufacturing ecosystem. /p pWith a focus on stabilizing operations post‑transfer and building future‑ready systems, you’ll help us achieve our mid‑to‑long‑term goal of becoming a Best‑in‑Class landing gear manufacturer. Join us on this exciting journey and make an impact on the future of aerospace manufacturing! /p h3Fokker Landing Gear /h3 pFokker Landing Gear (FLG) designs, develops, manufactures and assembles complete landing gears, as well as the repair and overhaul of systems in use. FLG manufactures parts for the Apache attack helicopter, the F‑35 Lightning II (JSF), the Bombardier Dash 8 Q400 and the multipurpose NH90 helicopter. For a Dutch aviation company of this size, we have acquired a unique position in the F‑35 (JSF) program based on our design and development capabilities. /p h3What You’ll Do /h3 ul liExemplify a safety‑first mindset and ensure compliance with the GKN Aerospace Health, Safety and Environmental policies and standards. /li liDevelop technical solutions to complex problems. Deliver a manufacturing system that fulfills all stakeholder requirements including safety, quality, producibility and business case. /li liLead engineering teams to deliver measurable, metric‑driven results in line with operational and program goals. /li liDeliver class‑leading engineering solutions to complex problems. /li liDevelop, deploy and maintain functional engineering standards. /li liDevelop and deliver manufacturing engineering training strategy for the business. Lead capability career development of the engineering team. /li liBuild a culture of process control and Zero Defect Manufacturing (ZDM) mindset in the manufacturing engineering team. /li liImplement tooling and production planning from original concept through to production, designing processes with a high degree of capability using the GKN standard ZDM tool suite. /li liAccountable for product development, new product quotes, tool fabrication quotes, first‑article development, configuration changes that involve cost estimation, schedule coordination, build process definition and implementation. /li liMaintain positive team relationships with internal and external customers, as well as co‑workers. /li liContinuously improve production processes by implementing Lean initiatives. /li /ul h3What You’ll Bring /h3 ul liMinimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing industrialization within a highly technical, low‑volume mechanical manufacturing industry. /li liExperience leading multicultural teams. /li liTechnical expertise in Manufacturing Engineering with a professional qualification or background (bachelor/university degree) in engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical). /li liExperience managing new product/process introduction (industrialization) and existing production process improvements. /li liAbility to influence people, build trust and establish effective working relationships within a global organization. /li liWorking knowledge of Lean processes and practices. /li liWorking knowledge of quality system models such as ISO 9000, AS9100 or D1‑9000. /li liFluent in English, written and spoken. /li /ul h3What We’ll Offer /h3 pA challenging position in an innovative and international environment with a rich history in aircraft manufacturing.
