Project Engineer

We are currently looking for a Project Engineer with experience in multidisciplined projects to work for a chemical company in Rotterdam, Netherlands. The client has a need for a project engineer to join them delivering small to medium sized CAPEX projects on their site.

The role will suit a Project Engineer with experience in any industrial plant sector (Oil, Chemicals, Renewables) who has experience with brownfield capex projects.

Project Engineer Specification:

START: ASAP

LOCATION: Rotterdam

DURATION: 12 Month Contract

Essential Skills:

Project Engineering experience (5-10+ years).

Any Engineering background is okay, but must have experience delivering multidiscipline projects.

Knowledge / experience with CAPEX projects on a live plant.

Ability to deliver projects from initiation to completion, including basic engineering, vendor selection and execution.

Experience with troubleshooting and problem solving in the field.

Beneficial Skills:

Dutch Speaking

Roles are responsibilities:

Responsible for selection and performance of engineering & project delivery contractors.

Overall responsible for successful delivery of the projects.

Project planning and budget responsibility.

Risk management.
