The Role
As Head of IT Delivery, you are accountable for the end-to-end performance of IT delivery and transformation. This role goes beyond execution - you are responsible for how delivery is structured, governed and experienced across the organization.
You operate at the intersection of strategy, execution and leadership, ensuring that complex change initiatives are delivered sustainably, adopted effectively, and aligned with business priorities.
Customers may never meet you, but they experience the results of your leadership every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate business strategy into executable IT delivery roadmaps
- Lead multiple large-scale transformation programs across IT, Network, B2C, B2B and Customer Operations
- Ensure strong governance, transparency and ownership
- Align business and technology stakeholders across a matrix organization
- Manage substantial budgets and delivery commitments
- Identify and mitigate risks proactively
- Build and coach senior delivery leaders and program directors
- Foster a culture of accountability, psychological safety and continuous improvement

Must-Have Qualifications
- Master’s degree in IT, Business, Technology or equivalent senior experience
- 10+ years in IT delivery, transformation or program leadership
- Experience leading large, multidisciplinary teams in matrix environments
- Strong ownership of budgets and business cases
- Experience in complex, high-availability environments
Preferred
- Telecom industry experience
- Experience with OSS/BSS or network transformation
- Exposure to both B2B and B2C environments
- Experience in regulated, fast-moving industries
Location & Requirements
- Must reside in the Netherlands (valid work permit required)
- Hybrid model, minimum 3 days per week onsite (The Hague region)
