Samenvatting

As a Pollinator at Rijk Zwaan in De Lier, you will play a key role in our cultivation process. Your primary responsibility will be to carefully transfer pollen between flowers, contributing to the production of strong, healthy fruits, vegetables, and ornamental plants.

As a Pollinator, you will work collaboratively within a dedicated team in a modern greenhouse environment, supporting plant growth and seed production. With a strong focus on accuracy and care, you will contribute to the development of robust plants and high-quality seeds.

Key responsibilities include

• Performing plant pollination activities, including emasculation (removal of flower stamens)
• Germinating flowers using a tablet-based system
• Harvesting seeds and conducting quality checks for crops such as tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers
• Carrying out general greenhouse tasks (light duties; no heavy lifting required)

Working hours:You will work from Monday to Friday, starting at 07:00 and finishing around 16:00. As plant growth follows natural cycles, occasional overtime may be required during peak periods.

Wat wij vragen

• Experience with pollination or working in a greenhouse with vegetables or flowers is considered an advantage, but not required
• Ability to communicate in Polish with English, or English or Dutch at a basic conversational level
• Willingness to learn pollination techniques and work with a high level of care and precision

• Gross hourly salary of €16.19
• Attractive weekend bonuses: +60% on Saturdays and 100% (double pay) on Sundays
• 40% overtime allowance for hours worked beyond the standard schedule
