As a Crane Operator, you will work in a large production hall where steel fixers prepare reinforcement structures before concrete is poured into molds. Once the concrete has hardened, you will use the overhead crane to move the finished elements to the next stage, preparing them for transport. These large concrete elements are used in construction projects across the Netherlands. Your role as a Crane Operator is essential to ensure the safe lifting, moving, and positioning of heavy concrete components within the production hall. Your main tasks include:

• Attaching, guiding, and moving heavy concrete prefab elements
• Safely operating the overhead crane
• Inspecting lifting equipment and supporting materials
• Monitoring and ensuring workplace safety during lifting operations

During lifting operations, you communicate clearly with colleagues to ensure everyone is aware that heavy elements are being moved. As a Crane Operator, you are responsible for the safety of both yourself and your coworkers. You will work full-time in 8-hour shifts starting between 03:00 and 11:00, with most shifts beginning between 05:00 and 07:00.

For this Crane Operator position, we are looking for someone who:

• Has proven work experience operating an overhead crane
• Lives in Alphen aan den Rijn or nearby
• Can travel independently to work due to early shifts
• Speaks English for communication on the work floor
• Has a VCA certificate or is willing to obtain one free of charge through us
• Is stress-resistant and has a strong sense of responsibility

• Salary between €2773 - €2900 gross per month, depending on experience
• Shift allowance of 120% between 05:00-06:00 and 200% on weekends
• 150% overtime allowance for weekday hours above 40 per week
