Bij Lab Associates in Oudenbosch doen we iets unieks. Sinds 1987 is Lab Associates een toonaangevende speler in de robotisering en automatisering van laboratoria. Wij helpen onze klanten met innovatieve totaaloplossingen – met name in de biotechnologie, maar steeds vaker ook daarbuiten – om efficiënter, nauwkeuriger en toekomstbestendig te werken. Jouw rol als Sales Engineer:

Als Sales Engineer ben jij dé schakel – de linking pin – tussen onze engineeringafdeling, het salesteam en de klanten. Jij begrijpt als geen ander hoe je klantwensen vertaalt naar concrete technische oplossingen. Je denkt niet alleen mee met de klant, maar kijkt ook vooruit: waar liggen de kansen? Hoe kunnen wij processen slimmer, sneller en beter maken? Jij ziet mogelijkheden waar anderen ze nog niet zien.

Wat ga je doen?

• Vertalen van klantbehoeften naar technische oplossingen en concepten
• Fungeren als verbindende factor tussen sales, engineering en de klanten
• Adviseren van klanten over automatiserings- en robotiseringsoplossingen
• Signaleren van commerciële kansen en deze actief benutten
• Meewerken aan het uitbouwen van onze positie binnen én buiten de agrarische sector
• Je werkt onder en rapporteert aan de Managing Director

Wat breng jij mee?

• Een afgeronde HBO-opleiding in een technische richting
• Sterk analytisch vermogen en oplossingsgericht denken
• Commerciële feeling en goede communicatieve vaardigheden
• Affiniteit met automatisering, robotisering of laboratoriumomgevingen is een pré
• Proactieve houding: jij ziet kansen en pakt ze
• Engels op minimaal professioneel niveau is nodig. Nederlands is gewenst, maar niet noodzakelijk.
• Bereidheid om minimaal 2 dagen per week op reis te zijn naar (potentiële klanten) en ook een paar keer per jaar een week op een beurs/congres.

Your role as Sales Engineer

As a Sales Engineer, you are the linking pin between our engineering department, the sales team and the customers. You understand better than anyone how to translate customer wishes into concrete technical solutions. You do not only think along with the customer, but also look ahead: where are the opportunities? How can we make processes smarter, faster, and better? You see possibilities where others do not yet.

What will you be doing?

• Translating customer needs into technical solutions and concepts
• Acting as a link between sales, engineering and the customers
• Advising customers on automation and robotics solutions
• Identifying commercial opportunities and actively seizing them
• Contributing to expanding our position within ánd outside the agricultural sector
• You work under and report to the Managing Director

What do you bring?

• A completed degree at Bachelor level in a technical field
• Strong analytical skills and solution-oriented thinking
• Commercial acumen and good communication skills
• Affinity with automation, robotics or laboratory environments is a plus
• Proactive attitude: you see opportunities and seize them
• English at a minimum professional level is required. Dutch is preferred, but not necessary.
• Willingness to travel to (potential) clients for at least 2 days per week, and also to attend a trade fair/conference for a week a few times a year.
