Position in the organisation:
IT4Business is part of the Global IT department and reports to the Global IT Director.
The Manager IT4Business leads the IT4Business group responsible for global business applications across Finance, HRM, Sales & Supply Chain, General Services and related domains, ensuring that business processes are supported by a scalable, harmonized, and compliant application landscape.
The Manager IT4Business collaborates closely with IT Office, IT Operations & Support, IT Breeding & Genetics, and IT Data & Integration, as well as Product Owners, Business Owners, business process leads and Cluster IT managers to ensure globally aligned and future‑proof business solutions.
Responsibilities
The Manager IT4Business is responsible for end‑to‑end functional ownership and lifecycle management of global business applications, ensuring alignment between business needs and IT delivery, with the capability to support 24/7 operations where needed.
· Lead and develop the IT4Business team and align application roadmaps with business priorities;
· Own the lifecycle of global business applications (ERP, CRM, HRM, Finance & Accounting, Sales & SCM) including upgrades, releases, documentation, compliance, and license management;
· Act as a trusted partner for the business stakeholders and manages demand, change delivery and prioritization aligned with the global IT governance model, enterprise architecture and global IT policies.
· Define, maintain, and evolve the application landscape supporting global processes, in collaboration with business process owners, IT Operations and IT Office including improvement of harmonization across countries by reducing local exceptions and implementing global standards.
· Shape and deliver the IT Change Portfolio for business applications, aligned with corporate objectives and strategic programs such as the Nexus program—a global transformation led by a dedicated program manager through an expected completion in 2028—ensuring the high‑quality implementation of ERP, SCM, CRM, and HRM systems across all agreed locations and clusters worldwide.
· Ensure compliance, information security, data quality, and adherence to global IT governance;
· Oversee vendor and contract management, ensuring high‑quality service delivery;
· Oversee the IT4Business service catalogue and ensure service levels meet business expectations.

· Strong business acumen and the ability to act as a credible counterpart for senior business stakeholders;
· Experience managing complex application landscapes and coordinating diverse supplier ecosystems;
· Excellent communication skills, able to translate business needs into IT solutions and vice versa;
· Strategic thinker with a hands‑on, pragmatic approach to delivery and change.
Education and Experience
· Master’s degree in Information Management, Business Administration, or a related field;
· 5+ years of experience in managing business applications or IT4Business‑related teams;
· Proven experience with ERP, CRM, HRM application platforms and cloud ecosystems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics365, Anaplan, Workday);
· Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, DevOps, ITIL, and application lifecycle management;
· Strong understanding of integration principles and data‑driven business processes;
· Experience managing external partners, outsourced services and international collaboration;
· Excellent command of English (Dutch is a preference), both written and spoken.
· Experience managing vendors, MSA and licence agreements
