Hiring: Business Development Manager – Licensing (Biotech)
Location: Netherlands (Remote)
We’re supporting a fast-growing biotech organisation at the forefront of antibody discovery and innovation, looking to hire a Business Development Manager to drive licensing and strategic partnerships.
This is a highly visible role, sitting at the intersection of science and commercial strategy, with responsibility for identifying, structuring, and executing licensing deals across a diverse therapeutic portfolio including immuno-oncology, autoimmune diseases, and neurology.
The Role:
- Identify and develop out-licensing, co-development, and strategic partnership opportunities
- Lead evaluation and presentation of external opportunities to senior leadership
- Drive due diligence processes and manage cross-functional deal execution
- Support negotiations, term sheet development, and deal closure
- Contribute to overall business development and licensing strategy
- Represent the business at global partnering and investor conferences
What We’re Looking For:
- PhD in a relevant life sciences discipline (e.g. immunology, pharmacology, oncology)
- Strong background in antibody drug discovery and development
- Proven experience in business development, licensing, or partnering
- Ability to translate complex scientific data into commercial opportunity
- Understanding of antibody modalities (mAbs, bispecifics, ADCs)
- Fluent in English and Mandarin
