I’m currently supporting a private equity‑backed business on the search for an Interim Head of Accounting to support a critical balance sheet reconciliation and audit readiness project.

This is a highly hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys getting into the detail, cleaning up complex accounting positions, and bringing structure to evolving finance environments.

What you’ll be doing:

Reviewing and reconciling balance sheet accounts across the group
Investigating and resolving balance sheet uncertainty and reconciliation issues
Supporting month‑end and year‑end close activities
Working closely with senior finance leadership
Working through and cleaning accounting records following a recent ERP migration
Supporting the consolidation of several legal entities
Ensuring the business is fully prepared for the audit process
