Your Role
The EBS WMS Functional Lead will be responsible for driving end-to-end Oracle EBS R12 Warehouse Management solutions while ensuring seamless Agile (Scrum) delivery. The role combines solution architecture, functional leadership, and Scrum facilitation, ensuring high‑quality, high‑performance warehouse and logistics solutions delivered on time and at scale. This role requires strong Oracle WMS functional expertise, hands‑on solution design and performance engineering, and the ability to lead complex programs, manage client stakeholders (including CXO level), and coordinate onsite‑offshore teams.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate the Scrum process and ceremonies – Sprint Planning, Daily Standup, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
- Facilitate collaboration and communication between team members and leadership to ensure a successful project outcome.
- Apply Scrum principles and Agile engineering practices.
- Ensure clear communication among the team, Product Owner, and stakeholders.
- Assist the Product Owner with backlog prioritization.
- Implement process changes and steps to improve team productivity.
- Apply project management best practices.
- Remove impediments/roadblocks and protect the team from external distractions.
- Ensure quality delivery within sprint timelines.
Required
- Strong functional and application knowledge of Oracle EBS R12 modules – Shipping, MSCA, WMS, and Inventory.
- Hands‑on implementation experience of Oracle EBS R12 WMS functions such as Picking, Put‑away, Task Management, Cross‑docking, Barcode label printing, hand‑held devices/scanners, and 3PL.
- Experience designing and delivering complex custom solutions in highly integrated applications such as integrating 3rd‑party WMS, Transportation Management, Trade Compliance and excise applications, Weights & Dimensions, EDI with Oracle EBS.
- Knowledge of Transportation Management, PDH/PIM, SCP modules is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of end‑to‑end processes Order to Cash, Procure Pay, Master data management, Intercompany processes is a must.
- Strong PL/SQL skills and familiarity with Supply Chain and WMS database tables.
- Prior experience as a Solution Architect in Oracle ERP transformations and deep understanding of Oracle EBS capabilities.
- Responsible for leading requirements elicitation, fit‑gap analysis, development, configuration, functional testing, and post‑production support.
- Strong experience gathering performance requirements, designing solutions for very high transaction volumes, and performance testing of solutions.
- Strong knowledge of European localizations, preferably in Oracle ERP packages.
- Comfortable driving requirements workshops, CRPs, and key design discussion sessions with clients.
- Oracle certification is mandatory; distribution industry experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of Oracle technology stack, Cloud Web Services, ALM tools (e.g., Panaya, JIRA), and performance testing tools.
- Excellent client‑facing communication and presentation skills; strong leadership and delivery management background working with offshore teams and third‑party application teams.
- Track record of interacting and building relationships with CXO‑level client contacts.
- Managing client escalations as a Solution Architect.
- On‑site‑offshore communication and work management.
Preferred
- Hands‑on experience on the Application and MSCA; involved in 2‑3 WMS implementations & hyper‑care projects.
- Co‑ordinating across tracks and a problem‑solving approach.
