Head of Enterprise Architecture
This role is located at Enza Zaden, a company focused on innovation and sustainable business value through digital transformation and enterprise architecture.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement an enterprise architecture strategy aligned with I&D and overall company strategy.
- Ensure all IT and digital transformation projects contribute to the future‑state architecture, maintaining reference architectures, principles, and roadmaps.
- Lead the implementation, deployment, and continuous improvement of enterprise architecture processes and capabilities.
- Lead the architecture board to evaluate solution designs and enforce architectural standards.
- Manage, develop, motivate, and coach a team of Information Architects and business/Digitalization colleagues in architecture practices.
- Stay current on architecture trends, sharing insights within the team and representing Enza Zaden on external platforms.
- Report to the Vice President of Information & Digitalization and be part of the I&D Management team.
- Lead a team of 4–5 direct reports and collaborate with internal and external partners and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or equivalent university education.
- 10+ years of relevant work experience, including 5+ years in leading IT architecture.
- Broad knowledge of architecture practices and information analysis.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Collaborative, engaging, and change‑leadership abilities.
- Experience leading teams and coaching colleagues across levels.
- Preferred certifications: TOGAF, ArchiMate.
