Head of Enterprise Architecture

This role is located at Enza Zaden, a company focused on innovation and sustainable business value through digital transformation and enterprise architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement an enterprise architecture strategy aligned with I&D and overall company strategy.
  • Ensure all IT and digital transformation projects contribute to the future‑state architecture, maintaining reference architectures, principles, and roadmaps.
  • Lead the implementation, deployment, and continuous improvement of enterprise architecture processes and capabilities.
  • Lead the architecture board to evaluate solution designs and enforce architectural standards.
  • Manage, develop, motivate, and coach a team of Information Architects and business/Digitalization colleagues in architecture practices.
  • Stay current on architecture trends, sharing insights within the team and representing Enza Zaden on external platforms.
  • Report to the Vice President of Information & Digitalization and be part of the I&D Management team.
  • Lead a team of 4–5 direct reports and collaborate with internal and external partners and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or equivalent university education.
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience, including 5+ years in leading IT architecture.
  • Broad knowledge of architecture practices and information analysis.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Collaborative, engaging, and change‑leadership abilities.
  • Experience leading teams and coaching colleagues across levels.
  • Preferred certifications: TOGAF, ArchiMate.
