Food Operator | €3,600

Take ownership of your own production line in a clean and modern food factory. You work in a fixed two shift schedule, earn up to €3,600 gross per month including shift allowance and get the chance to grow towards Senior Operator, Team Leader or Technical Service.

In this role, you are the person who keeps one production line running safely, steadily and efficiently. You set up the machines, check the process, adjust when needed and make sure the final product meets the right quality standard.

You work in a modern food production site where daily fresh products are made for supermarkets in the Netherlands. The work environment is clean, structured and focused on food safety. There are no slaughter processes. Your focus is on machines, product quality, packaging, output and process control.

This role is a good fit if you already have experience as a machine operator and like working with responsibility. You do not just follow the process. You understand what happens on the line, notice deviations and solve smaller technical issues independently.

You work in a fixed two shift schedule:

• Morning shift: 06:30 to 15:30
• Evening shift: 15:30 to 00:30

You receive 31.5% shift allowance for hours worked between 18:00 and 06:00.

Your tasks:

• Setting up and starting machines before production begins;
• Changing over the line when another product or packaging format is needed;
• Monitoring the production process and keeping output stable;
• Checking product and packaging quality during the shift;
• Solving smaller technical issues independently where possible;
• Working according to HACCP, hygiene and safety rules;
• Sharing improvement ideas to make the process safer, cleaner or more efficient.

• €2,740 to €2,909 gross per month based on 36 hours;
• Up to €3,600 gross per month including shift allowance based on 40 hours;
• 31.5% shift allowance for evening and night hours;
• 25 vacation days and 8.33% holiday allowance;
• €0.23 per km travel allowance from 10 km one way;
• 3.25% year end bonus and pension scheme according to CAO;
• Extra allowances for hygiene, cold environments and changing time.

Dit ben je

• Experienced as a machine operator within a production environment, preferably in food;
• Able to set up, start and change over machines;
• Familiar with HACCP, hygiene and safety rules;
• Able to solve smaller technical issues without waiting for constant support;
• Available for a fixed two shift schedule;
• Able to travel to the location with your own transport;
• Dutch and/or English speaking at a workable level, because of safety instructions.
