Head of Sales, BENELUX (Industrial Software)


Wenham Carter is proud to be supporting a global leader in industrial software as they look to appoint a Head of Sales, BENELUX.

This is an opportunity to join one of the most recognised and established businesses in the industrial technology space, supporting some of the world’s largest heavy asset industries through digital transformation, operational optimisation, and industrial intelligence solutions.

We are looking for a commercially driven sales leader who leads from the front. This is not a role for someone who simply manages forecasts and internal meetings. The successful individual will be expected to actively engage customers, develop strategic relationships, support complex enterprise sales cycles, and drive growth across the BENELUX region alongside their team.

The business is particularly interested in individuals who combine strong leadership capability with a genuine hands‑on approach to sales execution. Core Responsibilities

  • Leading and developing the BENELUX sales organisation
  • Driving regional growth across process manufacturing and heavy asset industries
  • Building executive‑level relationships with industrial customers
  • Supporting strategic enterprise sales opportunities from origination through to close
  • Collaborating cross‑functionally with pre‑sales, delivery, partner, and leadership teams
  • Developing and executing regional go‑to‑market strategies
  • Coaching and mentoring sales talent while maintaining personal commercial impact

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience selling industrial software solutions into heavy asset industries
  • Strong background in SaaS and enterprise software sales
  • Experience leading high‑performing commercial teams
  • Demonstrated success managing complex, multi‑stakeholder sales cycles
  • Ability to operate strategically while remaining highly customer‑facing
  • Strong understanding of industrial markets such as energy, chemicals, manufacturing, utilities, mining, or infrastructure
  • Experience working within international or matrixed organisations is advantageous
