Description

In this role, you are responsible for the entire process from start to finish. Your key tasks include:

• Maintaining customer contact and negotiating transport rates
• Coordinating and documenting freight and transport costs
• Booking, planning, and managing shipments
• Managing bookings with subcontractors according to customer agreements
• Tracking shipments and providing track & trace updates
• Resolving logistical issues related to shipments
• Managing and maintaining required transport documentation
• Maximizing profit by optimizing loading processes and aligning with carriers
• Invoicing

Profile

• MBO/HBO level of education or equivalent experience
• Experience in logistics and transportation is a plus
• Resilient under pressure and solution-oriented
• Strong negotiation skills and a hands-on mentality
• Result-driven, skilled in prioritization, and maintaining oversight
• Enthusiastic about process optimization
• Highly accurate and eager to learn
• Proactive work attitude
• Excellent command of the English language (speaking, writing, and reading)
• Flexible mindset
