As an Aircraft Sheet Metal Worker, you will inspect, repair, and restore aircraft structures, ensuring they return to service safely and in top condition. You’ll work with high-quality materials in a precision-driven environment where safety and craftsmanship are key. Experience in aviation is a plus, but not required. Backgrounds in automotive body repair, metal fabrication, or structural metalwork are welcome. We value technical skill and the motivation to learn. /p pJoin us and help keep the world flying safely. /p Functie pWhat will you do as an Aircraft Sheet Metal Worker? /p ul liAssess damage to aircraft components and determine the required repairs; /li liPerform repair and maintenance work in accordance with approved repair procedures and guidelines; /li liReplace damaged sheet metal parts and repair damage to aluminum or other aircraft materials using drilling, reaming, countersinking, spot facing, light milling, grinding, sawing, and deburring techniques; /li liUse sheet metal tools and small machinery to adjust, fit, or restore components; /li liWork in compliance with strict safety and quality regulations to ensure aircraft are returned to optimal condition; /li liCollaborate within a professional, international team on a variety of projects. /li /ul Functie-eisen pWhat do you bring as an Aircraft Sheet Metal Worker? /p ul liA completed MBO-level qualification in metalworking or a comparable technical education; /li liProven experience as a sheet metal worker (aluminum) or metal fabricator (aviation experience is a plus, but not required); /li liStrong technical skills and a keen eye for detail; /li liThe ability to work accurately according to specifications and technical drawings; /li liGood command of the English language, as it is often the working language within projects; /li liA valid Certificate of Good Conduct (or willingness to obtain one). /li /ul Aanbod pWhat do you receive as an Aircraft Sheet Metal Worker? /p ul liA gross monthly salary between €2,700 and €3,200, depending on your knowledge and experience; /li liTravel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer (maximum 30 km one way); /li li8% holiday allowance; /li li25 vacation days plus 13 additional leave days (ATV); /li liPension scheme from your first working day; /li liEasily accessible by public transport; /li liOn-the-job sheet metal coaching; /li liThe opportunity to work in an international team within a professional aviation environment; /li liThe prospect of a permanent contract with the client upon good performance; /li liOpportunities for training and courses through SOMA Works. /li /ul Sollicitatie pWould you like to start as an Aircraft Sheet Metal Worker and contribute to the maintenance and repair of aircraft components?
