Overview

Engineering Director, GTPN Platform (Relocate to Singapore) — Role based in Singapore. You will lead Airwallex’s Global Treasury and Payment Network (GTPN) engineering efforts, overseeing multiple feature teams across Transfers, Client Treasury, and GTPN Infrastructure. You will be a technically strong engineer with leadership, product thinking, and business acumen, responsible for the overall quality and delivery of multiple engineering streams, clearing roadblocks, providing context and guidance, and escalating when necessary. You will work with stakeholders across the globe to define the tech vision for the business domain and build products that meet and exceed customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy, architecture, development, and operation of Airwallex’s GTPN team to stay at the forefront of financial solutions.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to bring finance products from concept to launch; shape the future of finance through your input.
• Dive deep into customer needs to design and implement resonant solutions.
• Measure and optimize using data to drive decisions and identify opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• A highly experienced and inspirational leader with a track record of building and mentoring high-performing teams in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
• Technically proficient with extensive experience in system architecture and software development; 10+ years in modern engineering practices focused on continuous innovation and high quality.

Benefits

• Location: Singapore (Relocation required).
• Compensation: USD 300,000 – 325,000 per year.
