The Manager Buying for Cytiva is responsible for capturing all requirements for direct and indirect materials, create and communicate purchase orders and ensure supply at the right time.
This position is part of the Planning & Buying Team located in Medemblik and will be an onsite position. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery. The position can be filled part-time (80%).
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Manage the Buyers and Buying Support Associates in the Buying team
Lead, delegate or support projects from buying perspective
Support operational buying process
Act as a backup for the Manager Planning & Buying
Be responsible for KPI’s like supplier OTIF, supplier past due, Inventory
Act as a subject matter expert in ERP (SAP) for the buying modules
Use DBS to continuously improve the buying processes
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor or Master degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or other relevant education
At least 5 years of relevant work experience in a supply chain/procurement position
Experience in people coaching
Excellent command of the Dutch and English language
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
ERP (SAP) knowledge
NEVI certification or other procurement/supply chain certificates
Advanced MS Office skills and experience in using reporting tools such as Qliksense or BI
