The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, a proactive mindset, and experience working in an international environment, along with fluency in English and Dutch.</p><p><strong>Main Purpose of the role:</strong></p><p>To support the supervision and development of the accounting team while ensuring accurate financial operations, regulatory compliance, effective reporting, and business continuity, as well as serving as a key finance partner for management and regional stakeholders within an international environment.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Lead end-to-end accounting operations and financial reporting, ensuring timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual closings in compliance with local regulations and reporting standards.</li><li>Supervise and develop the Finance team by overseeing performance, KPIs, training, and business continuity while contributing to regional and global finance projects.</li><li>Manage cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, internal controls, audits, and SAP finance processes to support efficient financial operations.</li><li>Prepare financial statements, statutory reports, budgets, and periodic financial analyses to support business performance and management decision-making.</li><li>Oversee tax compliance, reporting obligations, and relationships with relevant authorities while ensuring adherence to internal policies and external legal requirements.</li><li>Act as a trusted financial advisor to the Country Manager and provide guidance on financial strategy, risk management, and process improvements.</li><li>Ensure effective management of corporate and administrative matters, including contracts, insurance, and other compliance-related obligations.</li><li>Drive continuous improvement of financial reporting, accounting processes, and internal controls to enhance operational efficiency and governance.</li></ul><br><ul><li>Certified Accountant with expertise in Finance, Accounting, Reporting, or Tax.</li><li>Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience in finance or accounting.</li><li>Experience in accounting or finance roles within international or global organizations.</li><li>Strong analytical skills, reliability, and a high standard of professional ethics.</li><li>Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.</li><li>Solid knowledge of finance and accounting principles and proficiency in MS Office.</li><li>Experience with SAP; knowledge of the shipping industry is an advantage.</li><li>Fluent business-level English and Dutch.</li><li>Willingness to participate in regional and global finance projects.</li></ul><br><ul><li>International and collaborative working environment.</li><li>Opportunities for professional growth and career development.</li><li>Supportive and inclusive team culture.</li><li>Competitive compensation and benefits package. xcjrqgh </li><li>Modern workplace with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.</li></ul><br>
