Job description:

As a forklift operator, you will be responsible for ensuring that pallets and packages are properly unloaded from the truck, weighed, and transported to the correct location in our warehouse. In addition to unloading trucks, you will handle other internal movements within the warehouse. Once your colleagues have correctly scanned or inspected the packages or pallets, you expertly maneuver the goods into the right truck. Since you take responsibility for your tasks, you remain alert to potential mistakes or needed adjustments to package routes or truck loading processes.

As a forklift operator, you will spend the first 2 to 3 months working on the conveyor belt to gain a full understanding of the process from A to Z. After this period, you’ll step into your role as a forklift operator, taking on this important responsibility.

What do we offer?

• A salary of € 2,602 per month for a full-time position, excluding allowances. The salary can increase based on your years of forklift experience.
• 8% holiday allowance and extra vacation days that increase with age.
• Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer.
• Initial working hours from 17:00-22:00 on the conveyor belt as part of the onboarding process.
• After onboarding, you will work part-time from 17:00 – 22:00 or 23:00 (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday are mandatory workdays).
• Year-end bonus of, which is about € 90 extra per month.
• You only work weekdays and have weekends off!
• Plenty of growth opportunities within our warehouse.
• A part-time workweek of 18 to 32 hours.

What do we ask?

• You are at least 18 years old because you will be working with various machines.
• You have a forklift certificate (or are willing to obtain one through us).
• You speak Dutch or English.
• You are willing to follow an (online) Awareness Dangerous Goods course after a successful tour. This course lasts 70 minutes and can also be completed at our location!
• After a positive tour, we will apply for your VOG (Certificate of Conduct).
