As a Senior Electrical Engineer you work in the heart of digital Netherlands: the data centers around Amsterdam and Schiphol-Rijk. Not standard maintenance, but complete installations, load tests with the loadbank and the faults nobody else gets solved. You prepare the work, write the work plan, align with the client and with the manufacturer, and sign off on the handover. As work responsible person and installation responsible person you decide how the work is done safely, and you train the apprentices and assistants beside you into engineers who can run a job on their own. Extensive UPS experience is welcome, but what counts is that you learned the trade in commercial and industrial buildings and dare to carry responsibility.

Salary €4.100 to €4.900 per month · 40 hours per week · Fulltime · Based in Amsterdam.
In this role you earn €4.100 at entry, rising to €4.900 as an experienced senior. Growing on to Lead Data Center Engineer can reach €5.900.
What you bring
At least 5 years of experience as an electrical engineer in commercial and industrial buildings, for example offices, healthcare, industry or data centers
MBO 3+ Electrical Engineering
NEN 3140 VP, VCA VOL and NEN 1010
You are the work responsible person (WV) and installation responsible person (IV) under NEN 3140, or you grow into those roles with us
Knowledge of UPS systems, batteries and backup power, extensive experience with them is a strong plus
You can lead a team and are a point of contact for clients
You train apprentices and assistants into fully independent engineers
Driver's license B, BE is a plus
