From the port of Rotterdam to the government quarter in The Hague: everything runs on data centers, and those data centers run on power. You keep that power up.
UPS systems, battery banks and backup power: based in Rotterdam you work on the installations that keep servers up, even when the grid drops out. You replace battery modules, measure voltage and conductance, pull and label cables and record what you did, because in these buildings the documentation weighs as much as the work. You get into heavily secured sites in Rotterdam and The Hague, and sometimes beyond: Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Brussels. If you come from commercial and industrial buildings and UPS is new to you, you learn those systems here on the installation itself, alongside an experienced engineer. Physical, technical and precise, because a mistake is not an option here.
The essentials: Salary €3.300 to €4.100 per month · 40 hours per week · Fulltime · Based in Rotterdam.
In this role you earn €3.300 at entry, rising to €4.100 as an experienced engineer. Growing on to Senior can later reach €4.900, but you are applying now for the Data Center Engineer role.
