Position OverviewThe Discipline Engineer Mechanical – Rotating Equipment serves as the site technical authority for all critical rotating equipment assets within the Pernis plant.The position provides expert technical leadership to Maintenance, Reliability, Operations and Project teams, ensuring safe, reliable and cost-effective operation of rotating equipment throughout its lifecycle.The role is responsible for establishing and maintaining technical standards, driving reliability improvements, supporting capital projects, and acting as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for rotating equipment across the site.This role focusses primarily on rotating equipment however, the role is also expected to provide technical support and engineering guidance for static mechanical equipment and assets.Key continuous improvement and asset optimization.Minimum QualificationsEducationTechnical Bachelor's (HTS) or Master's (Technical university) Degree.ExperienceMinimum 5-10 years of relevant Mechanical Engineering experience in the chemical, petrochemical, refining, energy or industrial sector.Strong experience with rotating equipment is required.
