The Senior Solution Consultant advances sales pursuits and helps drive revenue attainment by passionately evangelizing Workiva’s cutting-edge data management capabilities and the broad set of technologies powering the Workiva platform. The Senior Solution Consultant clearly demonstrates and explains how Workiva solutions work, ensuring their success and adoption through tailored demonstrations, technical and architecture presentations, and communication of value-based messaging about the Workiva platform. A critical part of the job is to ensure an understanding of Workiva’s role, placement, and footprint in an organization’s technology landscape.What You’ll Do Serve as a key member of the cross-functional sales team on each opportunity, including actively participating in account planning and strategy, driving the technical agenda from initial engagement through deal closure Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends—such as advancements in cloud computing, data analytics, AI/ML, and cybersecurity—that may influence or enhance Workiva solutionsExecute the technical discovery process with customers to identify areas where Workiva solutions align to address customer needsPrepare and deliver dynamic, tailored, value-driven technical demos and presentations of the Workiva platform including examples, solutions, prototypes, and proofs of concept to demonstrate viability and value of Workiva solutionsWork across various business lines at our customers including technical teams in IT, architecture, platform, and integration teams; and business functions in accounting, legal, finance, sustainability, audit, risk, FP&A, and financial reportingAddress regional architecture requirements, including EMEA data sovereignty, data residency, and GDPR compliance, ensuring customer technical security teams are confident in Workiva’s deployment modelTailor technical messaging and solution demos to accommodate multi-currency and multi-entity consolidationCollaborate with team members to share findings and observations, learn from team members’ experiences, and celebrate successesConsistently and proactively share experiences and observations with Workiva’s product management, engineering, product marketing, sales leadership, and executive teams to foster cross-functional alignment and innovationEngage with customers and partners alike to ensure success and satisfaction with WorkivaDemonstrate expertise across multiple domain areas, developing working knowledge of industries, departments, and use cases where Workiva can have an impactActively pursue innovation and creative problem-solving using the Workiva platformWhat You’ll NeedMinimum Qualifications6 years of technical customer-facing experience, ideally in presales, implementation consulting, or training/enablementExperience with data management, database design, and analysis, with expertise in SQL, data modeling, multidimensional concepts (e.g., Essbase, TM1), relational theory, data transformation (e.g., Alteryx), and advanced ExcelExperience in designing and understanding enterprise data architecture to be able to identify where Workiva can extend an organization’s data strategyHands-on experience with various AI tools and an understanding of concepts like MCPKnowledge of cybersecurity concepts and IT security considerations, GDPR and data privacy regulations, and European cloud security standards.Preferred QualificationsHands on experience with data platforms, ERPs, performance management systems, or BI platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, Fabric/Azure, etc)Hands-on experience with data integration and data integration software (e.g., Alteryx, FiveTran, MuleSoft)Financial services experienceTravel Requirement & Working ConditionsUp to 40% travel for customer visits, conferences, and company eventsReliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, not in a Workiva officeWhy Join WorkivaWorkiva is the platform designed to bring confidence, control, and a competitive edge to the world’s most complex organizations.
