Are you ready to join a team of ambitious professionals and help us simplify the world of data management?We are looking for experienced architects who can develop detailed deployment blueprints for successful customer deployments. Additionally, you’ll create repeatable deployment blueprints that become the templates for all customer deployments. These will be used to develop our services practices, to enable our delivery teams, our partner teams, and our customers to deploy our secondary storage solutions applications. The ideal candidate is someone who has 10 + years experience in architecting, documenting, deploying, and enabling others.These practices will utilize the architecture sold by our account teams to achieve customer-committed solutions. In addition to building these solutions, this role will also spend considerable time validating these procedures in the field and teaching partners and customers how to apply these in their environment. In this role, you will be working with engineering, systems engineers, tech marketing specialists, and customer support to build out professional services practices starting with the architectural blueprint that covers installation, integration, applications, migration, scripting (automation) to be used by delivery teams, partners and customers.HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME HEREDeliver architecture designs and professional services to Cohesity customersProduce and own formal solution design documents (HLD/LLD) that validate the agreed scope and guide the delivery teamAct as a trusted advisor to customer architects, infrastructure teams, and executive stakeholdersReview and approve design deviations, implementation decisions and deployment readiness milestones.Build strategic relationships with key customers and Cohesity teamsCollaborate with Cohesity’s product solutions, product management and engineering teams to bridge the gap between technology capabilities and customer requirementsPresent architecture recommendations, deployment strategies, and technical risks to executive and technical stake holders.Engage directly with customers to understand their organization needs and identify how Cohesity’s product features can best support their objectivesDevelop detailed solution designs including architecture diagrams, sizing specifications, integration requirements, and risk assessments.Engage directly with customers to understand their organizational needs and identify how Cohesity's product features can best support their objectivesProvide field feedback to Product Management and Engineering teams regarding deployment challenges, feature gaps, automation opportunities, and customer requirements.Define technical architecture including sizing and performance that meet customer requirementsEngage with teams to ensure Deployment Designs are successfully deployedDevelop best practices for the deployment designs that translate to project plansContinually improve deliverables as we scale and release new features/productsInspect deliverables for success and improvements.Work with others to develop post-deployment documentation (run books, pre-deployment templates, etc.)Convert deployment designs and best practices into a training curriculumDeliver hands-on training in small group formatsConduct beta testing of procedures for new deployment designs in the fieldProvide feedback to Implement Engineers, Systems Engineers, and engineering on ways to improve the overall experience.Provide leadership and support for any data recovery or Smart-Files related issues.WE ARE EXTRA EXCITED IF YOU HAVE ANY OF THE FOLLOWINGBachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.10+ years of professional IT experienceProfessional working proficiency in Dutch language is requiredExcellent communication and project-related skillsStrong written skills and the ability to create documentationSelf-starter with excellent organization and time management skillsThe ability to manage projects and drive to a deadline.Expected Travel: 50% Experience highly desirable in the following areas: Compute & Virtualization (VMware, vSphere/vCenter, Hyper-V, Kubernetes, OpenShift)Physical: Windows, Linux/UnixDatabases: Oracle, SQL, MongoDB, SAP,Storage: NAS, SAN, Object Storage, NFS, SMB, S3, Storage Performance ConceptsNetworking: IP Planning, VLANs, Routing, Firewall rules, Load Balancing concepts, DNS, NTP, MTU, multisite networking conceptsSecurity: AD, LDAP, SSO, MGA, RBAC, least privilege access concepts, Key management, encryption, ransomware recovery principlesCloud: AWS, Azure, GCP, Cloud Archival, Recovery Patterns, Hybrid CloudData Protection, Data Security and Data Management Disaster Recovery/Business ContinuanceDatabase Protection and RecoveryScripting / Automation (Python, Ansible and ServiceNow)#LI-MS2Data Privacy Notice for Job Candidates:For information on personal data processing, please see our Privacy Policy.Equal Employment Opportunity Employer (EEOE)Cohesity is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
