As a Senior Project Engineer Wind Marine, you are responsible for the technical leadership of our tenders and engineering activities during project execution. You work closely with tender teams, project management, supply chain partners, and subcontractors. Once a tender is awarded, you maintain oversight of the technical integrity throughout execution, ensuring alignment with project goals. /ppAs a senior engineer, you are not only technically excellent but also a mentor and coach for junior engineers, helping to structure the team’s work, share knowledge, and contribute to building a robust engineering organization within a fast-growing business unit. /ppstrongWhat You Will Do /strong /ppYou will work on international offshore wind and marine projects, balancing planning, cost, and quality requirements. Your responsibilities include: /pullipDeveloping technical solutions and execution methods for offshore foundations, Balance of Plant (BoP) installations, marine infrastructure, and decommissioning projects. /p /lilipOverseeing engineering activities across both tendering and execution phases, ensuring high standards and constructability. /p /lilipCoordinating technical interfaces with suppliers, subcontractors, and supply chain partners. /p /lilipIdentifying, managing, and mitigating technical risks, while safeguarding quality and project outcomes. /p /lilipCoaching and guiding (junior) project engineers, supporting their technical and professional development. /p /lilipBringing structure to a dynamic, fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent activities. /p /lilipDriving process improvements and the implementation of engineering best practices. /p /li /ul pIn short: you are a hands-on senior engineer with vision, capable of maintaining overview, ensuring technical excellence, and bringing people along with you. /ppstrongAbout Your Team /strong /ppYou will join a compact, entrepreneurial team within Ballast Nedam Wind Marine.
