Sea Freight Container Loader and Stowage Specialist
As a loader and stowage specialist for sea containers, you ensure that goods are prepared safely and efficiently for overseas transport. You start your workday at 08:30 by checking the loading lists and the cargo ready for shipment. Throughout the day, you accurately distribute the cargo within the containers, using a forklift and stowage materials to prevent shifting. Around 17:00, you close the last container of the day and ensure the loading administration is up to date. In this position, you work through Staffice at our client's location.
Responsibilities

Loading and unloading sea containers according to specific instructions.
Stowing and securing various types of goods.
Operating the forklift to move heavy pallets.
Checking outgoing goods for damage and correct quantities.
Completing relevant loading documents and checklists.
Keeping the work location and loading docks clean.
Applying the correct weight distribution within the containers.

We are looking for

Proven experience in loading and stowing sea containers.
Possession of a valid forklift certificate.
Proficiency in Dutch or English.
Physically fit and able to work accurately under time pressure.
Resident in the immediate vicinity of the work location.

We offer

Salary between 17,50 and 20.00 per hour.
