Working under the guidance of senior lab engineering, sales, or business development colleagues, this role assists with equipment setup, test execution, documentation, lab organization, and preparation of customer demonstrations. This position is ideal for an early-career technical professional looking to develop product, application, and customer-facing skills while contributing to commercial opportunities and laboratory excellence across the European sales organization. /p pAs a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, where your ideas and contributions will be valued and respected. /p pbRole and Responsibilities /b /pulliSupport customer tests and demonstrations in the European demonstration center, under supervision. /liliAssist with preparation, setup, operation, and clean-up of lab equipment for defined test scenarios. /liliFollow established safety procedures and laboratory standards when working with equipment, materials, hand tools, power tools, and electrical systems. /liliDocument test conditions, observations, results, equipment settings, and relevant technical details accurately and consistently. /liliCoordinate with senior colleagues, engineering, sales, and application specialists to understand test objectives and priorities. /liliHelp maintain the lab in a clean, organized, safe, and audit-ready condition. /liliExecute basic maintenance tasks on the lab and demo equipment. /liliConduct basic training sessions for both internal teams and external customers /liliAssist with tracking lab supplies, consumables, tools, and equipment readiness, escalating needs for replenishment or maintenance. /liliContribute to basic troubleshooting and problem-solving during tests, escalating complex issues as appropriate. /liliDevelop product and application knowledge across relevant Nordson ICS product lines. /liliSupport preparation of test summaries, customer-facing information, and internal updates as requested. /li /ul pbSkills and Qualifications /b /pulliAssociate degree, bachelor’s degree, vocational qualification, or equivalent technical training in engineering, mechatronics, electrical, mechanical, industrial, or a related technical discipline preferred. /lili0–2 years of experience in a technical, laboratory, manufacturing, service, engineering, or customer-support environment. /liliStrong attention to detail with the ability to document technical information accurately and consistently. /liliGood communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and customer-facing personnel. /liliBasic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. /liliAnalytical mindset with basic problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies, products, and applications. /liliEnglish language skills required; German or additional European language skills are considered an advantage. /liliExposure to automation, electrical systems, robot programming, or powder finishing applications is beneficial but not required. /li /ul pbTravel /b /pulliOccasional travel within Europe may be required to support customer demonstrations, training activities, and business needs. /li /ul pbAbout Nordson Industrial Coating Solutions /b /ppManufacturers rely on Nordson Industrial Coating Solutions equipment for the precise application and curing of powder coatings, liquid paint, ambient temperature adhesives and sealants, and food and beverage container production.
