Construction Fitter

Do you enjoy working with metal and turning technical drawings into complete constructions? As a Construction Fitter, you will work on a variety of metal structures within a technical production environment. You will receive your own work orders and make sure each job is completed accurately and according to schedule. Depending on your experience, you can work independently or receive guidance to further develop your skills.

Our client is a technical manufacturing company located in the Vlaardingen area, specialising in the production and assembly of metal constructions. The workshop handles a variety of projects where craftsmanship, quality and teamwork are important. You will join a practical working environment with experienced colleagues, where you have the freedom to work independently and further develop your technical skills.

Functie

• Assemble and machine various metal constructions
• Work according to technical drawings and work orders
• Perform different metalworking activities
• Check your own work for dimensions and quality
• Determine the correct working method and sequence
• Identify technical issues and discuss them with the workshop supervisor when necessary

Functie-eisen

• MBO-level education or equivalent experience in construction, metalworking or a similar technical field
• Experience as a Construction Fitter or in metalworking
• Able to read and understand technical drawings
• Accurate and focused on delivering good-quality work
• Able to work independently as well as within a team
