Role Objective The team works on keeping map data accurate and updated based on real-world changes. The work includes reviewing issues submitted by map users and testing location results shown in web search and map platforms.

The Mapping City/Country Expert supports transit and mapping data quality by providing local market expertise and improving city and country-level data accuracy.

Responsibilities – City Expert

Communicate with internal teams and external partners to support project goals

Create city-level transit data policies based on local market needs and regulations

Identify user expectations, data gaps, and transit-related issues

Improve transit data models using local knowledge of transportation systems

Validate and review updated transit data

Edit and maintain different types of transit data

Resolve complex mapping and transit data issues

Support Program Managers in communication with data providers and partners

Conduct field research to verify transit information and user issues
