Contextual Overview LIMAGRAIN, a global agricultural cooperative and one of the world’s largest seed companies, is seeking a Legal Counsel to join their team in Made, the Netherlands. The role involves providing legal support to Hazera, a global vegetable seed company within the Limagrain Group, focusing on commercial, corporate, and operational legal matters.
Key Eligibility Criteria Master's degree in Dutch law. Minimum of 4 years of relevant legal experience. Strong preference for candidates with experience as an attorney-at-law (completion of the Dutch professional legal training program). Fluency in both Dutch and English. Proficiency in commercial contract law and corporate law.
Responsibilities & Scope of Work Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements (distribution, licensing, collaboration, procurement, and sales). Advise business stakeholders on corporate, operational, and regulatory compliance issues. Manage disputes and coordinate with external legal counsel. Participate in cross-functional project teams and steering committees. Translate legal risks into practical business solutions.
Stipend, Compensation & Mode Compensation:
Competitive salary package including 8.33% holiday allowance, 25 days paid holiday, and 13 days ATV.
Mode:
Full-time, hybrid working policy available.
