You will also expand NLC's institutional partnerships with healthtech corporates and investors, and play a supporting role in strengthening the performance of priority ventures already in the portfolio. /ppYour mission is to turn clinical and technological innovation into measurable commercial, financing and strategic outcomes, working closely with venture CEOs, healthtech corporates, investors and strategic buyers. /ph3Core Responsibilities: Investment Sourcing and Execution /h3ulliIdentify and evaluate new healthtech investment opportunities across Europe, applying rigorous diligence on market need, scalability, buyer relevance and exit potential. /liliStructure and negotiate new investments: deal terms, licence agreements and capital deployment. /liliLead new venture incorporation: licence negotiation, CEO selection, legal incorporation and early strategy development. /liliBuild and expand institutional partnerships with healthtech corporates and investors to strengthen deal flow and co‑investment opportunities. /liliManaging team members to develop and execute venture creation and portfolio management strategy. /liliSupport NLC's fundraising for Fund V alongside Partners and Investor Relations team. /li /ulh3Supporting Responsibilities: Portfolio and Exit Support /h3ulliContribute to portfolio performance reviews for priority ventures, alongside milestone tracking and prioritisation led by the venture team. /liliHelp define financing and exit pathways with CEOs for priority ventures, matched to strategic buyer and institutional market requirements. /liliSupport venture CEOs by sparring on strategy, team building, connecting them to development and clinical partners, service providers, advisors, capital providers, and strategic buyers. /liliContribute to exit processes for priority ventures: target identification, data room input and negotiation support. /li /ulh3Your Profile /h3ulli8 to 15 years of experience in healthtech investing, deal sourcing, diligence, structuring or venture building. /liliVenture capital experience strongly preferred; comparable experience in corporate development, MA or operating roles in high‑growth healthtech companies also considered. /liliTrack record of sourcing, evaluating and closing early‑stage healthtech investments. /liliDeep healthtech domain expertise, with a sophisticated understanding of regulatory, reimbursement, clinical and commercial drivers. /liliStrong commercial judgment: able to identify what creates enterprise value and where capital is best deployed. /liliExperience negotiating licence agreements, term sheets and investment structures. /liliInstitutional capital fluency and the ability to communicate investment rationale clearly to investors and Partners. /liliA natural connector who builds relationships and coalitions to source and close deals. /liliPerformance‑oriented, decisive, commercially sharp, low ego and aligned with NLC's mission. /liliBased in Europe, preference for the Netherlands given regular presence required in the Amsterdam office; flexibility to work remotely otherwise. /li /ulh3What We Offer /h3ulliHigh‑impact role with direct ownership of sourcing, structuring and closing NLC's healthtech investments, and a voice in shaping portfolio strategy. /liliFlat structure and direct influence on NLC's strategy. /liliCompetitive salary with equity participation. /liliMeaningful work: contribute to scaling ventures that bring life‑changing healthcare innovations to patients. /liliA seat at the table with global strategic buyers, institutional investors, and portfolio CEOs, plus direct mentorship from NLC's Partners. /liliHybrid working model, based in the Netherlands with regular Amsterdam office presence and flexibility to work remotely. /li /ulh3bDiversity Inclusion /b /h3pAt NLC, we believe diverse perspectives drive better outcomes.
