As our Head of Financial Control, you will lead a talented team of controllers, ensuring compliance across the legal entities in your scope. Working ‘hands-on’ and closely with Group Finance Operations (GFO), care for team development, and collaborate across departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting. /pThese are some of the key components of the position:ulliLead and develop a high-performing regional Financial Control team, driving excellence and aiming high across all deliverables. /liliMonitor the quality of transactional work performed by the GFO team in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and any local requirements. /liliCollaborate closely with the business, finance business partners and other finance departments to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial statements. /liliOversee and ensure timely compliance with local statutory accounts, tax obligations, and the internal control framework. /liliPartner with the Finance Systems team to maximise the efficiency and appropriate use of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. /liliImplement streamlined processes and lead complex technical accounting projects such as impairment analysis. /liliParticipate in continuous improvement projects. /li /ulWhat will you bring to the team?ulliBroad accounting experience within a complex, international, or listed environment. /liliAccounting qualification (such as RA, CA, CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent) with at least 10 years working experience preferably in external audit. /liliAdvanced technical accounting knowledge, specifically encompassing IFRS. /liliA solutions-based approach to overcome challenges . /liliExceptional communication skills, with a proven ability to distil complex technical topics for non-finance stakeholders. /liliProven experience in people management, with a passion for mentoring, developing, and helping individuals succeed. /li /ulAt JET, this is how we playpOur teams forge connections internally and work with some of the best-known brands on the planet, giving us truly international impact in a dynamic environment.
