The Head of Finance Operations is accountable for managing and enhancing the organization's key finance operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Treasury and Banking Operations, Regulatory Reporting, and Overhead Accounting. This role is responsible for ensuring financial processes are accurate, efficient, compliant, and scalable, while continuously driving operational excellence, automation, and system optimization, primarily within the SAP environment.br/br/Leading a team of four professionals, this position collaborates closely with Program Finance, Tax, and IT/SAP stakeholders and reports directly to the CFO. The role also acts as the key liaison for external auditors across all areas within its remit.br/br/Accounts Payable (AP)* Lead the end-to-end AP process, ensuring accurate and timely invoice processing, approvals, and paymentsbr/br/Oversee SAP-based invoice management using xSuite and maintain strong vendor master data controlsbr/br/Drive process improvements, automation, and efficiency across AP operations and payment workflowsbr/br/Accounts Receivable (AR)* Ensure accurate accounting, reconciliation, and reporting of receivablesbr/br/Monitor customer balances and aging while supporting effective collection activitiesbr/br/Improve AR processes, controls, and automation capabilities within SAPbr/br/Treasury Operations (Banking Loans)* Oversee payment processing, bank reconciliations, and cash management activitiesbr/br/Manage loan administration and maintain relationships with banking partnersbr/br/Enhance treasury efficiency through automation and system integration initiativesbr/br/Regulatory Reporting (CBS)* Ensure accurate and timely submission of CBS reporting and compliance with Dutch regulationsbr/br/Maintain effective controls, documentation, and governance over regulatory reporting processesbr/br/Act as the primary contact for CBS-related inquiries and auditsbr/br/Overhead Accounting* Oversee accounting and reporting for payroll, travel expenses, and other overhead costsbr/br/Ensure accurate reconciliations and provide analysis of key expenditure trendsbr/br/Audit Leadership* Serve as the primary contact for external auditors across AP, AR, treasury, and related processesbr/br/Coordinate audit requests, maintain supporting documentation, and address audit findingsbr/br/Promote strong audit readiness and continuous control improvementsbr/br/Team Leadership Management* Lead, coach, and develop a team consisting of: o Accounting Manager (Amsterdam)br/br/AP Specialist (Amsterdam)br/br/2 × AP/AR Specialists (Poland)br/br/Set clear objectives, monitor performance, and foster a collaborative, high-performing culturebr/br/Ensure effective allocation of responsibilities and resources across locationsbr/br/Process Improvement Systems* Drive standardization, optimization, and automation of finance operations processesbr/br/Partner with IT and SAP teams to enhance systems, data quality, and operational efficiencybr/br/Strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies and proceduresbr/br/Reporting Line* Reports directly to the CFO and works closely with Program Finance, Tax, and IT/SAP stakeholders to support the company's growth and operational excellence.br/br/Great career opportunityGlobal companybr/br/Qualification And Experiencebr/br/Strong background in finance operations, accounting, or shared services leadershipbr/br/Proven experience managing AP, AR, and payment processes in an SAP environmentbr/br/Experience with OCR invoice processing tools (e.g., xSuite) preferredbr/br/Solid understanding of financial controls, reconciliations, and audit processesbr/br/Experience leading international teamsbr/br/Strong track record in process improvement and automationbr/br/Strong written and verbal communication in Englishbr/br/Additional language skills - Dutch and German is desirablebr/br/Skills Competenciesbr/br/Strong leadership and people management skillsbr/br/Process-oriented with a continuous improvement mindsetbr/br/Strong stakeholder management and communication skillsbr/br/Hands-on, pragmatic, and solution-drivenbr/br/Ability to work in a fast‑paced, evolving environmentbr/br/Our client is a global company operating in Aircraft Engine/Maintenancebr/br/Great career opportunitybr/br/#J-18808-Ljbffr
