De positie YER Tech Solutions (TS) is looking for an entrepreneurial Mechanical Engineer who wants to be at the forefront of something new. You will play a key role in developing innovative mechanical solutions for our customers and contribute to building the engineering foundation of a fast-growing organisation. As Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, designing and optimising mechanical products, machines and systems within customer projects. From concept engineering to detailed design and validation, you will contribute to the successful delivery of innovative engineering projects. While the Systems Engineer defines what the overall system must do and how disciplines interact, you focus on how the mechanical solution is designed, engineered and realised. You will work closely with Systems Engineers, suppliers and other engineering disciplines to ensure robust and high-quality outcomes. Perform engineering calculations such as statics or dynamics, tolerance analyses and design evaluations Support prototype development, testing and validation activities Contribute to manufacturability, assembly and cost optimisation Collaborate with systems, electrical and software engineers in multidisciplinary projects Contribute to engineering methodologies, templates and best practices Over het bedrijf About YER Tech Solutions YER Tech Solutions delivers engineering expertise through Statement of Work (SoW) projects. Our focus is not on staffing individual engineers, but on delivering complete engineering solutions for customers in high-tech manufacturing, industrial technology and innovative product development environments. Today we start in the Netherlands. BSc or MSc in Mechanical Engineering ~5+ years of engineering experience in a project environment ~ Experience with CAD/CAE tools such as SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor or similar ~ Knowledge of engineering calculations, materials, tolerancing and manufacturing processes ~ Commercial awareness and customer-facing skills ~ Based in the Netherlands, preferably in the Rotterdam, Utrecht or Eindhoven region ~ Dutch speaking is a strong advantage ~ Authorized to work in the Netherlands without the need for visa sponsorship ~ Experience across multiple industries or engineering domains is considered a plus Opportunity to build a new engineering organisation from day one Exposure to highly innovative engineering projects Collaboration with experienced commercial and delivery leaders
