Product Sales & Key Account Manager

We’re looking for experienced Product Sales & Key Account Manager to help deliver technology that supports the safe, efficient and reliable movement of aircraft around the world.

The Product Sales Responsible & Key Account Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and managing strategic customer relationships for Saab’s Air Traffic Management portfolio, including Digital Tower Solutions, Air Traffic Control Systems, and related aviation technologies.

The role combines business development, customer account management, solution selling, and customer engagement to ensure long-term business success and customer satisfaction. The position serves as the primary commercial interface between Saab and key customers, including airports, Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSPs), civil aviation authorities, and defence organization customer contracts across international markets. You will work alongside product, development, execution, finance, and bid teams.

This is an opportunity to influence the full commercial lifecycle – from identifying business opportunities to support and drive bids to supporting contract realisation and continued up sales. Your Role

As a Product Sales Responsible & Key Account Manager, you’ll provide leadership in customer relations throughout the sales cycle.

Business development and sales

• Support and execute sales strategies for Saab’s Air Traffic Management products and solutions.
• Identify and qualify new business opportunities within domestic and international markets.
• Drive the complete sales process from opportunity identification through contract award and handover.
• Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline to achieve revenue and growth targets.
• Support bid and proposal activities in close cooperation with product, technical, commercial, and project teams.
• Act as the commercial owner of assigned Air Traffic Management products and solutions
• Collaborate with Product Management to communicate market needs, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence
• Support product positioning, pricing strategies, and go-to-market activities
• Represent Saab at industry conferences, exhibitions, customer meetings, and trade shows
• Conduct executive-level presentations and solution demonstrations

Market Intelligence

• Monitor market trends, industry developments, regulatory changes, and competitive activities.
• Identify emerging opportunities within airports, ANSPs, defence customers, and aviation authorities.
• Provide regular market analysis and business forecasts
• Support strategic business planning and portfolio development activities

Key account management

• Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with strategic customers and stakeholders.
• Act as the primary point of contact for assigned key accounts
• Understand customer operational challenges and develop tailored solutions that create value.
• Develop long-term account plans aligned with customer and Saab business objectives.
• Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales and delivery lifecycle.

Your Profile

You have a strong business-driven mindset who combines, analytical and solution-oriented skills with excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building abilities. You are comfortable working across multiple stakeholders. You can operate effectively in an international and multicultural environment, balancing commercial objectives with customer relationships, and navigating complex contractual environments.

Understanding of Air Traffic Management, Air Traffic Control, Digital Tower, airport operations, or related technologies is beneficial. We also value the ability to communicate complex technical solutions in a business-oriented manner

Required experience

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, Engineering, Aviation Management, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Key Account Management, Business Development, or Technical Solution Sales.
• Demonstrated success in managing complex sales cycles and strategic customer relationships
• Demonstrated experience negotiating commercial agreements with customers.
• Strong understanding of contract principles and commercial risk management.
• Experience supporting bids, proposals and contract execution.
• Financial acumen, including pricing, profitability and business case analysis.
• Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken, and very good understanding of international cultural considerations.
• Experience working with international customers, complex commercial arrangements or cross-border contracts will also be highly regarded
